James G. Milliken MD

Dr. Milliken received his medical degree from the University of Michigan. Following an internship and residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, he completed a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. In addition to his busy practice, he is also the Medical Director of the Manistee Sleep Lab. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Pulmonary Medicine and the American Board of Sleep Medicine.



Carl B. Anders MD

Carl B. Anders, M.D.

Dr. Anders received his Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, and went on to complete his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Northwestern University McGraw Medical Center. Dr. Anders serves as Board Member and Treasurer for Northern Physician Organization. He is President Elect of the Munson Medical Staff and Chair of the Medical Executive Committee, and former Treasurer. Dr. Anders also serves as Munson Medical Center’s Representative to the AMA, and organized the medical staff section. Dr. Anders joined Milliken Medical in April 2011.



Elizabeth S. Elliot, DO

Dr. Elliot received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. After earning her Doctor of Osteopathy from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, MI, she completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Bi-County Community Hospital in Warren, MI. She completed her fellowship in internal medicine faculty development at Michigan State University’s Consortium for Osteopathic Graduate Medical Education and Training. Dr. Elliot joined Milliken Medical in September 2013. She is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.



Richard D. Entz MD

Richard D. Entz, M.D.

Dr. Entz earned his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in Ames IA and received his medical degree from University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA. He completed his internship and residency at Southwest Michigan Area Health Education Center in Kalamazoo, MI. He worked as an emergency room physician in Plainwell and Three Rivers MI before moving to Traverse City and joining Milliken Medical. Dr. Entz has been the Chief of the Internal Medicine Section at Munson Medical Center for many years. He is also the Medical Director of the Munson Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.



Neesha E. Fournier MD

Neesha E. Fournier, M.D.

Dr. Fournier received her undergraduate degree with High Honors in English from Michigan State University. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine degree from Michigan State University School of Human Medicine in East Lansing, MI in June 2007. She completed her internship and residency at Gunderson Lutheran Medical School in La Crosse, Wisconsin in June 2010. She began her practice at Milliken Medical in August 2010. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.



Allison M Goldsmith MD

Allison M. Goldsmith, M.D.

Dr. Goldsmith received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kenyon College in Gambier, OH. After earning her Doctor of Medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Medicine, she returned to Ohio to complete her internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Dr. Goldsmith is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is excited to join Milliken Medical in August 2017.



David B. MacDougall MD

David B. MacDougall, M.D.

Dr. MacDougall earned his undergraduate and medical degree from Wayne State University.  Following graduation, he went on to complete his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital.  He worked as an Internal Medicine Staff Physician at Henry Ford Hospital and was a clinical instructor at the University of Michigan Medical School before moving to Traverse City in 1993 to set up his internal medicine practice at Milliken Medical.  He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.



Janet M Messerschmidt MD

Janet M. Messerschmidt, D.O.

Dr. Messerschmidt received her undergraduate degree in physical education from University of Northern Iowa. She worked as an exercise specialist and instructor at the University of Northern Iowa Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. She went on to receive her Doctor of Osteopathy from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA. She joined Milliken Medical in 2007 and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Seaver received her undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. After earning her Doctor of Osteopathy from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, MI, she completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. Dr. Seaver joined Milliken Medical in 2006 and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Turner earned his Bachelor of Science Degree of The University of Michigan Ann Arbor with distinction. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI and his Internal Medicine Residency at Butterworth Hospital/Spectrum Health Downtown Campus in Grand Rapids, MI. He joined Milliken Medical in 2000.



S. Lee Warnaar MD

Dr. Warnaar began his private practice in Internal Medicine at Milliken Medical in 1984. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center in Grand Rapids, MI. Dr. Warnaar is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.



John O. Zachman MD

John O. Zachman, M.D.

Dr. Zachman received his medical degree from Ohio State University. Upon graduation, he attended the University of Vermont and completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine. Dr. Zachman went on to do a fellowship in Dermatology and the University of Minnesota. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
